Free daily practice. No card, no booking, no waiting for a tutor.
How English speaking practice works
- STEP 1
Get a question
A new speaking question every session, chosen from how you did last time. Shown in English with a Hindi translation, so you always know what is being asked.
- STEP 2
Answer out loud
Tap the mic and speak naturally for thirty seconds or so. Your words appear on screen live as you talk, so you can see exactly what was understood.
- STEP 3
See what to fix
Get a score for fluency, accuracy and pronunciation, every mistake with the correction and the rule behind it, and the full corrected answer read aloud in an Indian English voice.
Questions you will practise
Every question comes with a Hindi translation, so you are never stuck on what is being asked.
Tell me about yourself. What are your interests and hobbies?
अपने बारे में बताएं। आपकी रुचियां और शौक क्या हैं?
Describe a problem you solved recently and how you approached it.
हाल ही में आपने कोई समस्या कैसे हल की, इसका वर्णन करें।
What is your favourite place to visit, and why do you like it?
आपकी पसंदीदा जगह कौन सी है और आपको वह क्यों पसंद है?
Why practising out loud here works
Speak without an audience
No tutor, no class, no one listening. The hardest part of speaking practice is the fear of being judged, and there is nobody here to judge you.
Corrections you can act on
Not just a score. Every mistake shows what you said, what you should have said, why it was wrong, and a short exercise to fix that pattern.
Hear the correct answer
Your corrected response is read back in a natural Indian English voice, so you can hear the rhythm and stress you are aiming for and say it again.
Practice that fits a gap
A session takes a few minutes. Practise between classes, on the bus, or before an interview — anywhere you can speak out loud.
What your speaking analysis shows
- Fluency, accuracy and pronunciation scored on every answer
- Your recurring mistakes tracked over time, so you can see what keeps coming back
- Total speaking minutes and a daily practice streak
- Progress trends across sessions, not just one score in isolation
Who this English speaking practice is for
- Students preparing for campus placements and job interviews, where the interview is in English even when the course was not
- Anyone who reads and writes English comfortably but goes quiet the moment they have to speak it
- Competitive exam aspirants facing an interview or personality test round
- Working professionals who need to speak up in meetings, stand-ups and client calls
- College students who want to stop translating from Hindi in their head before every sentence
Common English speaking mistakes — and the fix
These are the patterns that come up again and again. Each one is the kind of correction you get after every answer.
I am working here since two years.
I have been working here for two years.
A situation that started in the past and is still going uses the present perfect continuous, and a length of time takes "for", not "since". Use "since" only for a starting point — since 2023, since Monday.
Yesterday I have gone to my friend house.
Yesterday I went to my friend's house.
A finished action at a stated past time takes the simple past, not the present perfect. And possession needs an apostrophe-s: my friend's house.
He is having two brothers.
He has two brothers.
Verbs of state — have, know, believe, understand — are not used in the continuous form. "Having" works for an activity (having lunch), not for possession.
I am doing engineering from Delhi University.
I am studying engineering at Delhi University.
You study a subject at an institution. "Doing engineering from" is a direct translation pattern that sounds unnatural to most listeners outside India.
Myself Rahul, I am from Pune only.
My name is Rahul, and I am from Pune.
"Myself" is not an introduction, and the trailing "only" is a Hindi and Marathi sentence pattern carried into English. Both stand out immediately in an interview.
What is your good name?
What is your name?
A direct translation of "shubh naam". It is polite in Hindi and simply confusing in English.
How to improve English speaking faster
Speak in full sentences, even when it is slower
One-word answers feel safe but teach you nothing. "Cricket" tells an interviewer nothing; "I play cricket every Sunday with friends from my college" gives you practice at building a sentence under pressure, which is the actual skill being tested.
Fix one mistake at a time
Trying to correct grammar, vocabulary, pace and pronunciation at once means fixing none of them. Pick the single mistake that shows up most in your feedback and hold it in mind for a week. Patterns break one at a time.
Record, listen back, then say it again
Hearing your own recording is uncomfortable and it is the fastest way to notice filler words, long pauses and rushed endings. After you hear the corrected version, say the sentence out loud again immediately — the repetition is what makes it stick.
Practise short and often, not long and rarely
Five minutes a day beats an hour on Sunday. Speaking is a motor skill as much as a knowledge one, and motor skills consolidate through frequency. A daily streak matters more than session length.
Stop translating from your first language
Most awkward English sentences are correct Hindi, Telugu or Marathi sentences translated word by word. When a correction feels strange, the cause is usually the structure you started from, not the vocabulary you chose.
English speaking practice: common questions
Is English speaking practice here free?
Yes. You get a set number of practice sessions every day at no cost, and the quota resets after midnight. You do need a free account so your progress and mistakes can be tracked between sessions.
Do I need a partner or a tutor to practise speaking?
No. You speak to the app on your own. That is the point — most learners never practise because arranging a partner is hard and speaking in front of one is intimidating.
How does the AI check my English speaking?
Your speech is transcribed as you talk, then reviewed for grammar, word choice, fluency and clarity. You get a score for each, a list of specific mistakes with corrections and explanations, and a fully corrected version of your answer.
Can I practise if my English is weak right now?
Yes. Every question is shown in Hindi as well as English, and the questions get easier or harder based on how you are doing. Short, simple answers are fine at the start.
Will this help with job interviews and campus placements?
It is built for exactly that. The questions are the kind you are asked in interviews and group discussions, and the feedback targets the mistakes that stand out most when you speak under pressure.
What do I need to get started?
A phone or laptop with a microphone, and somewhere you can speak out loud. Nothing to install — it runs in your browser.
How long does it take to improve English speaking?
Most learners notice their sentences getting steadier within two to three weeks of daily practice, because the first thing that improves is confidence rather than vocabulary. Measurable gains in fluency and accuracy usually show over one to two months. The variable that matters most is how often you practise, not how long each session runs.
How much should I practise English speaking every day?
Five to ten minutes daily is more effective than an hour once a week. Speaking is a physical skill as well as a mental one, and short frequent repetition is what makes new patterns automatic. A few questions a day is enough to keep a streak going.
Can I practise English speaking alone, without anyone to talk to?
Yes, and for most learners it works better at the start. The biggest barrier to speaking practice is not knowledge, it is the fear of being judged mid-sentence. Practising alone removes that, so you speak more, make more mistakes, and get corrected on all of them.
Does this help with pronunciation as well as grammar?
Yes. Every answer is scored on pronunciation alongside fluency and accuracy, and the corrected version of your response is read back in a natural Indian English voice so you can hear the rhythm and stress you are aiming for and repeat it.
